An eminent expert and renowned trainer in the field of security management and investigation, Mr. R.K. Sinha also founded the Security and Intelligence Services (India) Limited, popularly known as SIS in 1974. His name and fame have, however, traveled outside the country and he is a well-known figure among security fraternity all over the world. A graduate of Political Science and Law, Mr. Sinha had started his career as a journalist, then turned himself into a leading investigative reporter who had served as a war correspondent during the Indo-Pak war 1971. He is one of few from India who were closely associated with late Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, Founder of the Bangladesh.

Gifted as he is with initiative and drive, Mr. Sinha's jest for learning took him far and wide. As a private security professional, he can virtually be called a globetrotter covering countries like the United States of America in the West to China in the East. His professional expertise and excellent training skills helped him hold many professional offices like the Regional Vice President of World Safety Organization for South Asia (1989-1991), President, National Institute of Security Professional of India (1990-1995), Area Governor of Association of Security Organization of India (1988- 2001). Mr. Sinha is also the Executive Chairman of International Institute of Security and Safety Management, headquarters in New Delhi. During the NDA Government, he was also Advisor to the Minister of HRD, Science & Technology and Ocean Development, Govt. of India.

Mr. Sinha is also not a mere speaker. He keeps the professional audience spell bound and as has made over 30 highly professional research presentations in International Seminars between 1984-2002 covering countries like USA, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Mauritius, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Philipines, Singapore and Australia. He is also the author of the first authentic book on Student Movement led by Loknayak Jai Prakash Narain (1974-1975) in Bihar, known as JANANDOLAN.

All these taken together make Mr. Sinha virtually a capsule personality of many hues, starting with the media, covering the field of private security, investigation, technology, research and now championing the cause of the private security industry as the Chairman of Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI).
